Case Study: Mish Mash Personalized Beer Mug Club

One of my favorite TV shows of all time was Cheers. It has probably the best theme song every written for television. "Where everybody knows your name," written by Gary Portnoy and Judy Hart Angelo, became an instant classic. 

Wouldn't we all want to be Norm, Cliff or Frasier and be able to meander into our favorite bar and be instantly greeted by the whole staff and made to feel at home? 

One of our clients and also neighbor is MishMash in Barrio Logan.  (BTW, they just happen to server some of the best burgers in San Diego.)  MishMash has an exclusive Mug Club, where regulars can join and get their very own personalized beer mug. Each beer mug, maintained at the bar, has the member's name or nickname engraved (by Etching Expressions, of course:) on the front and their exclusive customer number etched on the back along with the MishMash barmaid logo.  Each Mug Club member gets the perk of 20oz pours for the same price as a 16oz. Such a deal: Have your very own customized mug waiting for you and get free beer on top of it!  

Etching Expressions can create the same program for any bar, restaurant or club with custom etched barware.  The cost of a personalized etched mug is negligible for the bar since the customer is charged an initial fee.
